The Banks Ram-Air intake for 2006-2007 GM 6.6L Duramax trucks replaces the restrictive factory air box and inlet path with a large sealed cold-air system and washable dry filter. The enclosed air box helps isolate the filter from hot under-hood air while the oversized inlet path supplies the turbo with a less restrictive air source.
Banks publishes airflow improvements of up to 57% over stock and up to 23% over competing systems in its testing. The giant 7-1/8-inch filter outlet and streamlined intake components are designed to increase airflow while remaining a bolt-in replacement for the factory air box.
