The Banks Ram-Air intake for 2007-2010 GM 6.6L Duramax trucks replaces the restrictive factory air box and inlet path with a large sealed cold-air system and washable dry filter. Its enclosed air box isolates the filter from hot under-hood air while the oversized inlet path feeds the turbo with a less restrictive supply.
Banks publishes airflow improvements of up to 57% over the stock system and up to 23% over competing systems in its testing. The 7-1/8-inch filter outlet and streamlined intake components are designed to support stronger airflow while remaining a bolt-in replacement.
